i passed my ftt!! ;) pt is on 26/9. i pray i pray, that i'll pass once and for all.

im utter busy n tired for the entire week, i dunno how to even put it in words. i missed sex and the city with the folks :( and i slept at 4 that friday night / saturday morning bc i had to complete my work, and had to wake up at 830 for driving lessons. argh!

grandma quit smoking!! :) its good news for everyone. i was in my uncle's car this morning on the way to pray my grandpa, when my aunt n grandma were talking abt brushing teeth. aunt commented tat her(grandma's) teeth is considered pretty good considering the fact that she drink coffee regularly and she smokes. then she(grandma) happily proclaimed that SHE'S QUIT SMOKING!!!!! =) everyone was surprised. but i recalled my maid telling me that grandma's been smoking lesser recently. so we asked her why she quit smoking, and her reason was

1. getting very expensive. for the fact that she smokes 100++ cigarettes every month, she's spending plenty money on cigarettes
2. some of her mahjong kakis have quit. so she thot she shd join them to quit tgt.

so peer pressure totally works even up to old age! haha. govt's campaign towards promoting "quit smoking" have indeed been effective! when we announced to the family during dinner, everyone was surprised. no one knew she quit smoking! even my auntie who's the closest to her! so those in the car were the 1st to know.

in the past, we thot it'll be very difficult for ask the elderlies to quit smoking, since they have been addicted to it all their life. if we pressure them to quit, they may suffer from other diseases or sicknesses due to being deprived from the addict; since its alr been part of their lives. so its indeed very rejoicing to know that grandma have quit smoking! for the benefit of herself and the entire family, KUDOS GRANDMA! =)
