its been such a long long week for me. had been looking out for letters, but apparently nth came in this week. had been working hard at work for there seems to be lotsa work for me these 2 weeks.had my 1st driving lesson, and to some of your surprise, im learning manual!!! haha. why? bc perhaps one day daddy may ask me to drive the van to deliver goods for him? =) or perhaps one day, mum may be suddenly ill n there's no car at home, so we have to borrow our neighbour's manual car to send her to the hospital? "MUMMY'S JUST THINKING TOO MUCH!!!!!" - she's the one who wanted me to learn manual. OH WELL!
lesson turned out fine, with this instructor that asked questions which set me thinking VERY HARD for the correct ans, which apparently always turned out to be wrong. so i ended up saying "BU ZHI DAO" to every question he asked me. haha. it feels cool to act dumb at times. then he started to teach me to DRIVE! oh freak! step on the clutch, change gear, then step on the engine, and the car will move. then SLOWLLLLYYYY release the clutch and BOMB! OPPS~ the car stalled! haha!!!!! its just so difficult to release the clutch slowly. so the reminding time was trying to start, turn around the carpark, and stop. but everytime i try again, smth would happen. i stalled for abt 4-5 times in total! hahaha. anyway im having my 2nd lesson tmr. so i pray it'll be better. if not, the instructor and i may always end the lesson feeling very giddy.
went to town to catch Iron Man with xy mary fl derr. shopping have started to bore us abit, so we sat at coffee bean to chit chat till we feel lk moving on.
generally exciting. some ppl may be bored during the introduction of iron man. but overall, 3/5. =)
are we back to 16 yrs old or wat?! haha. but it still feels cool to take neoprint. but somehow, ARE WE OVERAGED?! marilyn's got her nus proj facilities management. derr's got his ntu material science. n i got my ntu accountancy.
i've been thinking abit for the past few days while hopping to receive another offer. i had always wanted to go to smu. its convenient, good, and it comes with potentially high starting pay. then again, it may not be internationally recognised and its a 4 yrs honours. Ntu, which alr offered me a place is far away. REALLY FAR AWAY! but its good, internationally recognised, and its a 3 yrs honours. if i cant get myself a double degree or major, i can still take a minor n learn smth extra.
oh well! actually i seriously count and appreciate my blessings for even being able to get the ntu accounting.
if its ever gg to happen... im happy if it does happen. but im mentally prepared that itll nv happen. at one moment, it seems lk its so gg to happen. at another, it seems lk its nv.
THE WEATHER IS JUST TERRIBLE FOR THE PAST FEW DAYS!!!! OMG! everytime i feel the heat, i feel lk im melting lk a snowman. =( GLOBAL WARMING. pls save the environment! off the switches and lights when u dun use them.
time to turn in! =)
